On February 1, 2005, the Charleston Baptist Association (CBA) adopted an unreached City of Northern India. This adoption, known as Holy City Connections, was established with the aim of CBA churches working together to see a God created and sustained movement in this City that is very holy to the Hindu people. Our desire is that those who seek peace and cleansing would come to be connected in a vital relationship with their living Creator through Jesus Christ.
There are three possible connection points to Holy City Connections:
- Praying

For this adopted City to be transformed by a wave of God's grace through His Spirit and the sharing of the Gospel with the year-round citizens as well as millions of Hindu pilgrims

For 4 to 6 teams each year to invest strategic time in this City

For an "on the ground" coordinator of our work
- Giving
- To enable persons, from the church where you are, to participate as team members
- To assist our CBA coordinator to regularly lead these teams into India
- To assist with city development projects
