Donate to Holy City Church

Holy City Church on James Island is a CBA re-planted church. Hurricane Dorian did some extensive damage to their building.

I asked Pastor Brian Powell to provide information on how assistance is needed. He said that prayers are especially needed for wisdom and Financial provision.
Church members and others have been assisting with immediate needed cleanup. Disaster relief is providing temporary roofing to cover exposed roofing until repairs can be made.

The insurance adjuster estimates the repair cost to exceed their deductible of $64,000. Just recently they leveraged much of their savings to pay off the remaining mortgage of the former Harbor light Baptist Church.

Because specialized workers are now needed, the greatest way churches can assist this sister congregation is by prayers and financial giving. Please reach out to Pastor Powell to extend your prayer support: (864) 985-2671 /

Financial gifts can be given directly to the church or through the association. To give directly: . Gifts should be designated to the hurricane Dorian fund. Gifts can also be received through the association online or by mail.

Sincerely in Christ,

Craig Tuck
Executive Director of Missions
