This training is for pastors, staff, deacons, and other church leaders that will be held in the Whitfield Christian Leadership building on the campus of Charleston Southern University. Dr Tony Wolfe, Executive Director of the South Carolina Baptist Convention has authored a book, “Deacon on Purpose” and will be leading this regional deacon training. Additionally, Chris Reinolds (AMS, North Florida) with the Prism Group will be facilitating application exercises. Those trained will gain a biblical basis for Deacon Ministry as well as connection with one’s identity and calling while serving. Practical and pragmatic assistance will be given to equip deacon’s in care and compassion for those in need or in crisis.

Training will be Friday evening and Saturday through lunch.

Cost is $25 per person or $100 for a team of 4 or more.
